8 Problems WWE Solved With The 2018 Superstar Shake-Up

6. Woken Worries

Though an integral part of brother Matt's original Broken Universe back in TNA, Jeff Hardy is better off without his sibling at the moment. At 40 years old, this is likely his last chance for a big singles run, and while he could conceivably do this as a Woken Brother Nero, why risk hurting his popularity? Matt's reinvention hasn't quite hit the same heights it did in Impact, and the last thing Jeff needs is to be tethered to Bray Wyatt at this stage in his career.

Splitting the Hardy siblings should prevent this from happening. WWE teased their reunion on the Raw after 'Mania, when Jeff met with Bray and Matt backstage, but it was just that: a tease.

Matt and Bray are now free to spout their DELIGHTFUL nonsense and scoop the Raw Tag Titles at the Greatest Royal Rumble, while Jeff can plot his own course as United States Champion. It's the best possible scenario for all involved, and while there may come a day when waking Brother Nero up is the right course of action, this isn't it.
