8 Reasons Brock Lesnar Must Retire The Undertaker At WWE Hell In A Cell

5. It's The Perfect Place For His Career To End

It could be argued that Survivor Series would be the best place for The Undertaker's career to reach its end, but despite the fact that that event will mark his 25th anniversary with the WWE, Hell in a Cell feels more fitting. After all, like The Streak, it's really inside this unforgiving structure that the Deadman made a name for himself. Surprisingly, very little of the build up to Lesnar's match with The Undertaker at Hell in a Cell has revolved around the brutal encounter they had in one back at No Mercy 2002. It could be because they were both covered in blood by the time the bell rang (not a very appropriate sight in the PG Era), but that history makes this rematch even more significant. As a result, despite this bout taking place on what has unfortunately become a B-Level PPV, it would be far from a bad place for The Undertaker to call it a day. Such a history making moment taking place here could actually elevate the importance of this event and the Hell in a Cell stipulation itself moving forward, something which desperately needs to happen given how commonplace and ordinary the structure has become in recent years. The sight of Lesnar standing atop the Hell in a Cell back in 2002 was iconic enough, but him doing so this time could create a truly lasting image.
