8 Reasons To Check Out See No Evil 2 This Halloween
8. The Plot
Taking a page out of the "Halloween 2 (1981)" book, See No Evil 2 picks up on the same night as the original. Serial killer Jacob Goodnight massacred countless men and women before apparently meeting his own demise. He is on his way to the local morgue, where employees and friends of every-girl Amy are celebrating her birthday. Unbeknownst to him, Goodnight is no mere mortal and soon, the massive killer is continuing his murderous ways. With nowhere to go, the morgue becomes his personal hunting ground and the young, mostly innocent men and women his prey. The side story of Amy and good guy co-worker Seth's budding romance injects and little heart and emotion into the proceedings and gives the viewer a little something to invest themselves in outside of the kills and chaos that typically ensue in a film of this sort. Like two innocent school kids realizing and developing their feelings for each other, Amy and Seth are the centerpieces of the film. Whether they wind up with their happy ending or suffer a tragic demise is up for you to discover.
