Out of sixteen briefcase winners, only six of them were babyfaces at the time of their win: John Cena, CM Punk (twice), Daniel Bryan, Rob Van Dam, and Randy Orton. Punk the second time, along with Bryan and Orton, each turned heel almost immediately after their successful cash-ins, with their scripted cowardice and shadiness as the overriding factor.

That's thirteen out of sixteen instances where the man attempting to make good on their Money in the Bank victory was either already a villain, or was about to become one. It's definitely a match that favors heels.

When looking at the field for upcoming matches of the ilk, you can pretty much bet that either a heel wins, or a babyface that would benefit from a heel turn in short order. Again, it's too predictable.
