8 Wrestling Rumours & Reactions: Bad News Barrett Returning?

Rumour: This is still a rumour, since it's not been made official by the WWE yet, but according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter the Diva Search is coming back later this year. Rather than putting it on TV, WWE will look to make it an exclusive on their WWE Network. The host will most likely be a former contestant and the format is still to be determined.

Reaction: Woo? As a wrestling fan this show doesn't bring a lot to the table, besides some mindless entertainment. WWE is looking to create more original content for their network and this fits the bill. Possible choices for host are: The Bella Twins, Eve Torres, Maryse, and Michelle McCool. Other possible, but less likely choices: Rosa Mendes (out with a baby on the way) and Layla (just retired). If I had to pick, I'd love to see Maryse return; she was always fun to watch and was solid enough on the mic.
