In theory, it isn't a terrible idea for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship to be defended across all brands. After all, there isn't enough depth in the Raw and SmackDown Live women's divisions to justify giving each brand their own set of tag titles, and even as it is, it doesn't feel like Bayley and Sasha Banks have much credible competition.

Years before WWE did away with the Brand Split the first time around, they merged their tag team and women's titles and had the champions appear on both brands. That was a sign that the Brand Extension was on its last legs, and it looks like it could be happening all over again a decade later.

It probably won't be long before the Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships are unified as well if Charlotte Flair's recent title win against Asuka is any indication. Heck, the tag team titles might be next to be merged based off how neither division is terribly exciting at the moment.

Fans of The Boss 'n' Hug Connection must be thrilled that they get to watch their favorites on Monday and Tuesday nights, but it doesn't exactly enforce the idea of "brand warfare."
