Wrestling is sometimes known as the 'Land Of The Giants'. The industry has a long history of promoting some of the biggest dudes on the planet - from Andre The Giant to Yokozuna and The Undertaker to Viscera.

You usually know what you're getting with that type of performer: Incredible acts of strength, no-selling devastating attacks, walking slowly around the ring making menacing faces, entering the ring over the top rope instead of through the middle, and (for a period of time in WWE) a ladies man gimmick. However, some wrestlers don't only break the scales, they break the mould too.

For as long as there have been super heavyweight wrestlers, there have been super heavyweight wrestlers who defy physics. Big men who move around the ring like they weigh half as much as they actually do, putting the Cruiserweight division to shame with their athleticism and high-flying prowess.

No other sport attracts this kind of athlete. Wrestling is all about suspending disbelief, and what's more unbelievable than a man weighting 500lbs flying through the air with the greatest of ease. This list is a celebration of those real-life comic book characters.

For example...

8. Mason Rook

Whether he goes by the name Will Kroos, Mason Rook or 'that bloke who does all the cool moves on TikTok', NXT's latest signing is the real deal.

It didn't take long for the British wrestling elite to take notice of Kroos. After making his professional debut in 2017, he quickly rose up the ranks and began appearing regularly in top UK promotions like RevPro and Progress. From there, he expanded his influence into Japan, competing for Pro Wrestling NOAH before WWE snapped him up in 2026.

One of the reasons the re-dubbed Mason became so famous so quickly is that he's totally unique. Standing at 6' 4" and weighing almost 300lbs, Kroos is just as comfortable flying off the top rope as he is hoisting people up for a powerbomb.

His insane combination of speed, power and athleticism makes it impossible to take your eyes off him. This is especially true when he's wrestling in a smaller UK ring. There, he looks like Godzilla destroying downtown Tokyo! The future is incredibly bright for this young man, especially as he's now in WWE's system.

They just have to let him do what he does best.
