8 Things NXT Got Right At TakeOver: WarGames

6. Aleister Black Continues To Win

Despite the positive strides made by Velveteen Dream, it wasn’t quite enough. Aleister Black was too strong for the young Tough Enough star in the end, hitting Black Mass for the 1-2-3 after nearly 15 minutes of action. The man from Amsterdam remains undefeated since arriving in NXT.

NXT has done a masterful job of booking Aleister Black so far. The former Tommy End has vanquished all who stood before him, and he feels like a big deal. His finishing move is also established as a one-kill shot, and the sky is the limit for Black at this point.

He absolutely must keep winning, and he almost certainly will do so. Aleister Black is in line for a major marquee match at the WrestleMania TakeOver. Should it be for the NXT Championship? That will depend on who holds the title by the time the company rolls into Dallas, but it will be no surprise if Black ends that show sat cross-legged with the big X next to him.
