8 Things To Expect Now Brock Lesnar Has Re-Signed With WWE

2. Brock vs. Rock At WrestleMania

While this is nowhere near a guarantee, it's been rumored as a match Vince McMahon is adamant about making happen ever since Lesnar returned to the fold in 2012. The two have history together - albeit brief - with Brock winning his first title in a star-making bout at SummerSlam 2002. And depending on the outcome of the Roman Reigns match, the story may be even more obvious. There are some definite obstacles to making it happen, however. After the injuries he suffered in his Mania 29 match vs. John Cena it's hard to imagine The Rock being willing to risk his absurdly lucrative film career for another go in the ring. He's a guy who's appreciative of the business and still loves and respects it, but he has nothing left to gain from stepping into the squared circle once more. If it happens, it'll be because Dwayne Johnson wants it to and that's the only reason. But the fact that it's still so heavily rumored and Rock hasn't outright put it to rest says that it's a possibility. And with 100,000 tickets to sell next year in Dallas, WWE's two biggest mainstream stars clashing in an epic rematch would go a long way toward helping fill those seats.
