The show opens up with Stephanie visiting WWE's new headquarters for the first time then having a flirty chat with Triple H on the atrium. Her purpose? To dig into what her husband was thinking when he first thought about bringing CM Punk back into the fold. That's when Hunter disclosed exactly what was said during his first call with an old foe.

Punk was understandably nervous about everything that had happened between them. In 2014, Trips was there when Punk told Vince McMahon to cram his WWE gig where the sun don't shine. The road-weary full-timer was sore, tired and needed a break. So, he told Vince he was going home for a while and the rest is history. Punk figured that'd come up in the chat with Trips.

It did, but the new WWE boss was keen to squash it as soon as possible. He explained it in simple terms to Punk: “If you’re still the same person you were 10 years ago, then you’ve wasted 10 years of your life. Let’s put all that behind us and talk about the possibilities”. Further, Hunter turned the lens on himself and noted how he'd changed as a person over the prior decade.

He didn't have smart-arsed comments for Punk, and he didn't have anybody else to roll his eyes at. No, Triple H wanted to do business, put things right and make everyone a winner. That's something Punk could get onboard with. It was fascinating to have this insight as a launching point for Steph's new project.

Since then, by all accounts, Punk has become an even more valuable member of the WWE roster than he was first time around.
