8 Things We Learned From WWE 24: New Orleans

1. Roman Reigns Resents The Rejection

After his battering under the edgy elbows of The Beast, a bloodsoaked Roman Reigns reveals that he required three inner stitches, eight or nine for the cut, and several staples. Utterly dejected, having had his match vehemently booed out the building, Reigns ponders, "I hope people are willing to see that I'm willing to do anything."

Roman's resentment that his extreme efforts go unappreciated are a common though subtle theme throughout the doc. We don't see much of the Big Dog - presumably for this very reason - but when he do, he's in contemplative mood. It almost seems as if the toil isn't worth the troubles.

At the very least, the next time we see Reigns back in action, the fans may have reassessed their ingratitude.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
