First things first - the finish to this match was frustrating but necessary. WWE made a mistake by running this re-match so soon after WrestleMania 33. The cruiserweight division would have been better served by either someone else (Akira Tozawa, Kalisto) challenging Neville here, or even booking a multi-man match that could see Neville retain but do so without beating Aries.

But run the re-match they did, and the match itself was good verging on very good. Aries and Neville are clearly the two standouts of the cruiserweight division. Neville is as good as anyone in WWE right now - he truly has found his spot as the big bad of the cruiserweight division.

But Austin Aries isn't The Greatest Man That Ever Lived without reason, and it seemed as though Aries was about to get the better of Neville here. The champ got himself disqualified, and whilst he walked away with his title in hand it is clear that another brick has been taken out of his wall of armour.

Aries will be the man to dethrone the King of the Cruiserweights - but it will take time.
