4. His Last NXT Match Was Against The Champion
Before being released from his NXT contract, Carter's final match was at least against the champion at the time - none other than Big E. Langston.
Sadly, the contest was a pre-taped, non-title bout, and it must have been a little bittersweet for EC3 to share the ring with a man clearly so hotly tipped for success by WWE's top brass.
Needless to say, he didn't go over - but has since admitted that while his WWE days were winding down, he was talking to contacts in TNA about jumping ship. A savvy businessman indeed.
