It should probably come as no surprise that former professional American footballer JBL is a huge fan of ruggers, given it's basically identical minus the padding. It's a damn sight muddier too. That's a good thing.

A British Overseas Territory, the sporting influence from across the Atlantic is evident in Bermuda, with cricket and rugby union being its de facto national sports. After relocating to the island idyll, JBL was quick to adapt to his new home's culture, and as part of his charitable contributions established the Beyond Rugby foundation intent on helping lift children out of gang culture.

Layfield regularly made rugby references during his commentary, undoubtedly baffling North American audiences. On one occasion, he even compared WWE official Dan Engler to rugger's Nigel Owens - an esoteric comment if ever there was one.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
