It wouldn't be a stretch to imagine that Eric Bischoff couldn't tell you much about Pete Dunne before he introduced him at WCPW Stacked last August. Bischoff would have known exactly who the 'Bruiserweight' was following a Triple Threat with El Ligero and EC3 though. This was quite the debut from Dunne in WCPW.

The fact ex-WCW boss and WWE Raw General Manager Bischoff was the one to first introduce Dunne to the WCPW audience should act as foreshadowing to what was to come in Pete's career. Now endorsed by Triple H and others, it shouldn't be forgotten that Bischoff was the first one to sing his praises after seeing Dunne wrestle.

Sterling performances in that Triple Threat and against the likes of Joe Hendry and Martin Kirby would have grabbed WWE's attention. Those WCPW matches, combined with Dunne's work in other companies such as Progress and Southside greatly benefitted his career.
