8. Randy Orton Goes Nuts On A Mexican Journalist

Randy Orton is a grumpy fellow, well known for having a less than stellar backstage record and for snapping when not treated with the respect that he feels he deserves. There's a famous story of Orton coating rookie Rochelle Loewen's belongings in baby oil because she didn't know who he was when meeting him in the corridor. Clearly, he's not a man to be messed with.

Tell that to El Furby, the Mexican reporter who was tasked with interviewing The Viper and his first question was an absolute doozy:

"What do you have for breakfast?"

Randy Orton's ire was already pretty up after hearingthatblockbuster, replying sarcastically "Wow. Good question", but El Furby's biggest error was yet to come. He described Randy Orton as 'fragile', citing the many injuries he had received over the years. Randy then calmly took the glasses off the reporter's face, the microphone from his hands and asked him to 'say that to my face', despite the reporter having literally just said that to his face.

Orton then screamed for the reporter to say it again, and to look at him, look at him, LOOK AT HIM, all while El Furby was lookingdirectlyat him. Randy then stormed off and waved for the cameras to cut. Consideringhisreputation, it's not impossible that this was real, but considering that he was the heel champion at the time and looking to generate press for himself, it's also likely that this was a staged confrontation. It's difficult to judge.
