5. 'Matt Freakin' Hardy!'

One of Heyman's most infamous promos came at One Night Stand 2005 in front of a rabid Hammerstein Ballroom. Addressing the balcony of Raw and Smackdown superstars, Paul let fly with several zingers, many of which alluded to behind-the-scenes events unlikely to be referenced on usual WWE programming. One such attack has gone down in history, particularly for fans of a certain Hardy Boy. Matt was out of the company at the time, having been released after making Lita and Edge's affair public via his personal website. Many fans saw this as incredibly unfair, and drummed up a wave of support in order to get the former Tag Team Champion rehired. Heyman took full advantage of this, yelling "Hide your wives, it's Edge!" to the baying crowd. He then leaned through the ropes and addressed the Rated R Superstar directly, screaming Matt's name and prompting a thunderous "we want Matt" chant.
