1. The Worst Possible Sendoff

Poor Lita, as if breaking her, having her personal life made very public and taking one (make that many) for the team over the course of her WWE career wasn't enough, WWE still felt the need to stick it to her as she was on her way out of the door. At the 2006 Survivor Series the company gave her quite possibly the worst sendoff they've ever given a wrestler ever (not named Bret Hart, anyway).

After dropping the Women's Title to Mickie James, Cryme Tyme came out for some of their HILARIOUS antics, namely auctioning off Lita's personal belongings. Underwear, sex toys, vaginal health products...yeah, you get the picture. Lita might have been a heel, but was there really any need to have this be her leaving present?

WWE were clearly annoyed to be losing another top female star, just two months after Lita's real-life bestie Trish Stratus had announced her retirement. Conversely, Trish's sendoff was immaculate: she was allowed to leave as Women's Champion, beating her longtime rival in front of a hometown crowd.

Lita was made to look like a joke, WWE choosing to take one last shot at the character and the woman. According to reports at the time, Lita was (understandably) upset by the whole thing. Still, fair play to Lita for retiring while she was young and still on top. There was nothing more she could have conceivably done in WWE and, considering the way she had been treated over the years, who could really blame her?
