4. Bark Like A Dog, Trish!

One of the most infamous segments WWE have ever aired, this one was considered in bad taste even by Attitude Era standards. During a segment on the March 5th, 2001 episode of Raw, Vince McMahon scolded Trish Stratus in the middle of the ring, asked her to strip down to her underwear and, in perhaps the most shocking thing of all, forced her to 'bark like a dog'.

Yep, in order to (kayfabe) keep her job the WWE Hall of Famer had to bark like a dog, on all fours, in front of millions of people watching all over the world. The segment was so offensive that it was banned from the Sky Sports version of the show that was broadcast in the UK (four days after the live version).

Trish, bless her, tried to defend the shambles on Off the Record in 2004, saying that she did get the last laugh by slapping Vince at WrestleMania X-Seven.

But, really, is one slap adequate payoff for the humiliation that Trish went through? I don't think many would argue that it was. Was this payback for a particular incident involving Trish? Apparently not, although there were rumblings back then in insider magazines that she had a bit of an ego and was constantly placed in scenarios designed to humble her.

It's possible that the dog barking episode was one of those, as well as acting as a punishment to her 'character' for crossing the boss.
