8 Times WWE's Rules Didn't Apply To Brock Lesnar
3. Annoying The Undertaker
Anyone who's spent longer than five minutes dipping into WWE's behind-the-scenes lore knows The Undertaker is a revered backstage figure. He was the promotion's locker-room leader for years, and someone to be respected, admired, and obeyed. From holding wrestlers' court to reportedly strong-arming Shawn Michaels into doing the right thing by putting Steve Austin over at WrestleMania XIV, his clout was mighty, and only a fool would make an enemy of him.
But according to Brock's 2011 book Death Clutch: My Story Of Determination, Domination, and Survival, Lesnar was among this number, revealing that him and the legendary 'Deadman' endured a bristly personal relationship in the early days.
'Taker was particularly upset when Lesnar walked out on the company in 2004, as he'd personally put 'The Next Big Thing' over several times. It's often said that he confronted Brock directly about this, but their relationship clearly wasn't poisonous enough to prevent them from working together in the future. When Lesnar eventually returned, 'Taker let him be the one to end his WrestleMania struck, thus providing the springboard to transcendent "special attraction" status.
