Record: TIED - Georges St-Pierre and Randy Couture - 15

Next Best: Jon Jones - 14

Jon 'Bones' Jones will soon equal this record when he faces Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 to defend his Light Heavyweight strap, joining elite company at the top of this particular list, in the form of Canadian legend Georges St-Pierre and the already heavily-featured Randy Couture.

Assuming he can make his way past a tough Reyes, and barring something incredibly dramatic happening, which we certainly can't rule out when it comes to Jon Jones, the 32-year-old will then surpass the record and make it his own at some point in 2020.

You have to go back nearly nine full years to find the last time Jones wasn't in a UFC title fight, when he defeated Ryan Bader at UFC 126 to catapult himself into the championship scene in early 2011.

Since then, he's fought in 14 consecutive fights that have involved him either winning, or defending, an undisputed or interim championship.

In the process, he's knocked off a platter of legends including Mauricio Rua, Rampage Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen and Daniel Cormier.

His run-ins and issues outside of the Octagon have been well documented over the years, but no one has ever doubted his incredible talent and achievements in the sport. There's no reason why he can't extend this record into untouchable territory before his career is over.
