Something happens whenever John Cena or The Rock show back up on WWE TV. It's a strange realisation, but it occurs mere seconds into their speeches; both guys cut slicker promos than 99% of pro wrestlers on the active roster, and they seem to do so with complete ease.

Cena teaming with Kevin Owens to take on Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn is a house show-style exhibition bout, but John successfully made everyone watching think it's be some unmissable event on par with Wrestle-f*cking-Mania. That's how good he is, and it's why he became such a top, top star.

Sami set the table for Cena by laughing off suggestions that KO had another friend. He then brilliantly dodged any questions about their on/off friendship from his Bloodline buddies by saying he used to be friendly with Kev. JC's revelation subsequently put egg on Bloodline faces shortly afterwards.

Great stuff.
