'The Show Of Shows' helped WWE ease their way back into reality in April, with the two-night event offering socially distanced crowd members a chance to see the product in person again for the first time in over a year.
There were some true highlights too - a (since censored) rain delay gave talent some time to cut some unscripted promos about matches they were evidently glad to be having, Florida gave a visibly shocked Hulk Hogan what's been coming to him for some time, and the pirate ship shot pyro from the cannons!
It was an unreservedly emotional couple of days, and WWE were more than happy to take advantage. The action on Night 1 outstripped that of the second evening, but both contributed WWE match of the year candidates to the conversation, and in any era (pandemic or otherwise), what is the biggest event of the year for if not that?
