8 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (29 July)

2. More Pros Than Cons For Six-Man Match

AEW Collision Bullet Club Gold

There were a few moments where Collision's six-man bout wandered a little too much towards some of AEW's worse habits, but there were enough positives to give Bullet Club Gold vs. Action Andretti, Darius Martin, and El Hijo del Vikingo an Up.

Juice Robinson joining Austin and Colten Gunn in their ridiculously cool entrance looked great, and this segment of Collision also gets plentiful praise for how Juice brilliantly had a cardboard cut-out of the absent Jay White with him.

The action was fast-paced, didn't overstay its welcome, and was a largely dominant win for the Bang Bang Gang which had some fun, electric moments of offense for our trio of babyfaces. Still, as alluded to, there were some moments which will have taken certain sections of the fanbase out of things; those moments where there was too much standing around waiting to catch an opponent, or the ignoring of the the post-tag five-count permitted for double-team manoeuvres.
