8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 19)

AEW/Lee South

It was all tag team action on this week's episode of Dark with the Best Friends facing Private Party in the opener, the rarely-seen Strong Hearts returning to face The Young Bucks, and Riho joining forces with Britt Baker to battle newcomers Kris Statlander and Big Swole in the middle.

This format highlights the absurd strength in depth AEW has when it comes to tag teams. While the roster is definitely thinner elsewhere, that they're able to throw the likes of the Bucks and Private Party on their YouTube B-show speaks volumes, hammering home that this company already has the deepest tag scene on the planet.

The tiers are well-defined, the matches deliver, and the wrestlers are over. It's everything American tag wrestling has been missing for years.
