8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 19)

6. Sign Kris Statlander

This goes without saying, given the criticisms levied at AEW's women's division so far, but the group really needs to pull out the chequebook for indie standout Kris Statlander.

Granted, the match was laid out to highlight her skills, but she looked good here. Demonstrating in-ring aptitude, presence, and fluidity far beyond her two years of experience, her flashes of offense showed why she's considered one of the hottest prospects in independent wrestling today and she'd likely become an immediate cornerstone if she was picked up by All Elite, even though she's still developing as a performer.

The 'Galaxy's Greatest Alien' gimmick can't be A Thing on this stage, admittedly, but Kris Stat has all the tools. Bring her in. She's already better than most of the division.
