8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Nov 26)

4. Shanna's First W

Big Swole Shanna
AEW

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Shanna gave Big Swole her most impressive AEW outing to date. The Portuguese grappler brings a wealth of experience to the table and is quietly one of the roster's most refined wrestlers, which showed in their match. Swole looked decent too, particularly in her hossier moments, but it was Shanna who once again proved herself a potential cornerstone.

This was a solid showcase of what both women can do and where they stand going forward. Swole sold a Superkick like death at one point, though the defeat suggests she'll continue as a lower-tier wrestler for now. Shanna, meanwhile, just scored her first W, and should now move up the ladder.

It's a shame that the finish was so clunky, with Swole taking a few seconds to awkwardly slide her shoulders to the mat from Shanna's Dragon Suplex, though this didn't take the bout to a net negative.
