8 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (1 Feb - Review)

1. A Rare Lapse In Thought

MJF Takeshita
AEW

The latest MJF bounty angle was great value in and of itself - more on that imminently - but the way in which it was sequenced revealed a rare, glaring continuity error. This was bad form from a promotion that usually operates with a keen sense of detail.

Before this segment, Konosuke Takeshita had roughed MJF up and torn his shirt. Then, not too long afterwards, MJF paid Rush a bounty to take out Bryan Danielson looking like a mega-star. His aviators look was so striking that he should wear this get-up all the time. With the exception, of course, of that segment.

It was a blatant pre-tape that took viewers out of it with a lack of thought.
