2. A Huge Main Event Is Coming

SmackDown will get the subtitle treatment with a special 'New Year's Revolution' episode in two weeks. There, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight will meet in a bumper triple threat to establish who wrestles Roman Reigns come Royal Rumble. That, dear readers, is a massive match.

Credit to Nick Aldis for framing it properly and making the announcement more impactful too. He delivered the news well, and the live crowd was right into the idea of seeing these headliners go at it. They'll have to wait, but that wait will be worth it in the end. This really is a colossal tussle (hope someone out there gets that!).

As the intro says, something special is brewing on the blue brand.

AJ is annoyed at LA for stealing "his" shot vs. Reigns, Knight is angry at Styles for ambushing him, and Orton is in the middle already knowing he fired out a challenge to Roman. There's a lot of meat on the bone here, and it'll come to a head in the new year.
