Santos Escobar vs. Bobby Lashley didn't disappoint either.

Arguably, it wasn't as good a match as KO vs. Hayes, but the scrap did do a hell of a lot to push Escobar's new heel run as something you must pay attention to. The ex-LWO member enlisted the aid of Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza as his new heavies, and they helped him defeat Lashley.

Now, Santos is in the final vs. Owens and has backup in his quest to tear down Rey Mysterio's LWO. The knock-on side effect of this is that an overlooked tag (Carrillo and Garza) also has some purpose again too. Good times all round, gentlemen. It's about time the former Los Lotharios had some direction.

WWE will surely book Escobar, Humberto and Angel vs. Lashley and The Street Profits on TV over the next month or so as well. That has a cool, competitive vibe to it, but it'll be interesting to see where Bob and his own faction goes next.
