AEW Collision Skye Blue Ruby Soho Toni Storm Willow Nightingale
AEW

Skye Blue and Willow Nightingale vs. Toni Storm and Ruby Soho was a fun match, with hometown hero Blue picking up the win, but it all just felt a little backwards.

It was only on this past Wednesday's AEW Dynamite that Skye lost against AEW Women's Champion Toni Storm. So, to have Blue be the one to get the win here - even if Soho ate the pin - was a little odd.

Logic would suggest this means Skye will now get another crack at Storm's Women's Title, but surely this would've worked better if the Collision match happened before last Wednesday's match - as in, Skye Blue gets the tag team win, which in turn sets her up to unsuccessfully challenge Storm on last week's Dynamite.

Instead, we now have a situation that's undone what took place on Wednesday.

Make it make sense, please.
