While this year's Owen Hart Cup was announced back in April, we'd not heard any further details on the tournament bar that the finals would be taking place in Calgary on 15 July.

Now though, we've finally have the first couple of competitors confirmed for this year's Owen.

As shown on AEW Collision, Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs have announced themselves for the Owen Hart Cup. With the tournament finals less than a month away, one has to imagine that these two announcements will be followed shortly by the reveal of which other wrestlers will be partaking in this year's edition of a tourney that AEW and Martha Hart launched last year.

Of course, Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. were the winners of the inaugural Owen tournaments.
