Right, as a whole, Jake Something and Brian Myers' promos were fine. They're both tremendous talkers, specifically Jake Something in this case. Everything they said made sense and was executed with conviction.

The stipulation for, presumably, next Thursday's match, though? It's prime late-era WCW, i.e. naff sh*t. Essentially, whoever wins will be forced to acknowledge the other as a professional.

Of course, this makes sense for Myers' schtick as 'The Most Professional Wrestler' and it's no doubt going to be a solid bout, however, stipulations like this can severely hinder a contest. There's no real benefit to such a thing. At this stage, all this means is that Myers finds himself in yet another meaningless rivalry that will do nothing for him in the long haul.
