A minor Down for the scheduled Eddie Edwards vs. Satoshi Kojima clash not going ahead, as it would have no doubt been a corker, but it was for a fine reason.

With Kojima in the ring awaiting the former World Champion, a W. Morrissey vignette popped up onscreen. The seven-footer mocked Eddie and Kojima for their so-called friendship, questioning that if the IMPACT locker room respects Eddie Edwards so much, then why did no one come to his rescue when Morrissey jumped him in the parking lot?

So, Morrissey vs. Edwards at Slammiversary, right? That's certainly the vibe your writer is getting after this. Considering this will be the former Big Cass' Slammiversary debut, he's being placed in such a marquee position - presuming this is the case - that he can't possibly suffer. Although he must go over Eddie, a loss to such a high-caliber IMPACT name wouldn't hinder Morrissey too much. It's going to rule hard if this great Morrissey promo was anything to go by.
