8 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (19 August)

3. Spooky Shoe Shenanigans

AEW Collision Billy Gunn Boots

As regularly referenced in previous Collision Ups & Downs, House of Black are phenomenal between the ropes. However, this faction often walks into trouble when it comes to the 'spooky' BS that takes place away from the in-ring work.

This week, we saw House of Black put Billy Gunn's boots in a trash compactor; all done with brooding aplenty, ominous words of nothing, and just a general sense of being corny as all hell.

Unfortunately, this was the sort of nonsense that has you questioning what exactly you were watching, and why exactly you were watching it.

The inevitable HOB vs. Acclaimed & Daddy Ass rematch should be solid, but this burgeoning rivalry currently feels way too cheesy.
