8 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (19 August)

1. We'll Hear From FTR...

Yes, we technically did hear from FTR, but man, was this not a case of the loosest possible advertising.

Prior to this week's Collision - and throughout it - the audience was told that we'd "hear from FTR", with the vast majority of people believing that Dax and Cash would have an in-ring interview or at least be featured backstage or cut a promo in a pre-taped video.

Of course, we didn't get anything like that, and the only "hear from" we got from Harwood and Wheeler was as part of a package hyping their upcoming All In match against the Young Bucks.

So yes, we did hear from FTR... in a video package... to continue the push for their impending AEW Tag Team Titles bout against the Jacksons.

Nobody was expecting FTR to stand in the middle of the ring and discuss Cash Wheeler's recent arrest, but the way the tandem's Collision presence was advertised felt nothing it not a little disingenuous from AEW.
