8 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Dynamite (May 20)

3. Jon Moxley

The Brodie Lee feud hasn't been as hot as it needed to be, but Jon Moxley put in another strong shift on last night's Dynamite - enough to be isolated as its own individual Up.

The AEW World Champion's match with 10 was exactly what it needed to be. The former Preston Vance is the Dark Orders bruiser, not a regular masked goober, though he was caught off-guard by Moxley trucking him at the bell. 10 only got back into it by striking while Jon was talking to Aubrey Edwards. He beat Mox up on the outside for a short while but the tide turned soon after as Moxley took control, goading Lee with signature offense, before nailing the Paradigm Shift on roughly five minutes.

An effective post-match angle saw Moxley trap 10's arm in a steel chair, threatening to break it if Brodie didn't emerge. Lee's response was that sometimes, sacrifices needed to be made, so snap went the limb, as Moxley gave Lee something to chew on.

Moxley had a second promo spot later in the evening, telling Alex Marvez that things were only going to get worse for Lee at Double Or Nothing. He's doing great work at the moment.
