8 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (11 Dec - Results & Review)
UPS…
8. A Women’s Tag Team Gaining Momentum?
Perish the thought.
The women’s tag “division” has been a running joke for four years now, but credit should be given to Kayden Carter & Katana Chance for at least getting the opportunity to shine as a duo recently. Sure, they beat a makeshift team of Natalya and Tegan Nox last week and defeated glorified jobbers Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell Monday night, but they’ve managed to at least look credible in a division that has next to no credibility.
Chelsea Green also is helping to carry things with her commentary during women’s tag matches, serving as a full-on annoyance to Michael Cole and the audience at large. But KC-Squared’s tandem offense is the real star here, as fans are starting to come up for their double-teams.
It’s not much, but it’s something, with WWE building them up for a title shot next week, and that’s something.
