8 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 1)
2. Goodbye...Again
Su Yung may have already been written off our screens, despite the character only making her long-awaited comeback at Bound For Glory on 24 October.
'The Undead Bride' was set to challenge Deonna Purrazzo for the Knockouts Championship, when Father James Mitchell entered. Mitchell then introduced a plethora of undead bridesmaids - the same bridesmaids who had previously flanked Yung in her past. After being planted by Purrazzo's Cosa Nostra piledriver, the former two-time Knockouts Champion found herself being carried to the back by Mitchell's demonic group.
Unless it's all part of a ruse, it appears we're being forced to say goodbye to Su Yung, and hello to Susie. Again. Purrazzo and Kimber Lee pleaded with Mitchell to help turn their Su Yung problem into a Susie problem, which, in all fairness, makes sense given their upcoming participation in the Knockouts Tag Team Championships Tournament.
That doesn't mean we have to rid the Impact locker room of 'The Walking Nightmare', though. She's just returned. Susie has grown stale. We can't just have her again.
