8 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 1)

1. Fourth Time Lucky?

It wouldn't be an Impact show without Eric Young and Joe Doering interrupting a match, beating up the combatants involved, and having 'The World Class Maniac' cut the same promo he's been cutting for the past few weeks.

This week, the dangerous alliance made their intentions felt during a rematch between Cody Deaner and Johnny Swinger, laying out both men as well as Cousin Jake at ringside. After 'EY' spiked Cody with a piledriver, the former two-time World Champion took to the microphone to proclaim the world didn't belong to Cody or to Swinger or to Jake, but rather, it belonged to Young and Doering.

Literally, the only difference compared to previous weeks was that Young screamed in the motionless faces of the men he'd laid out, as opposed to just shouting towards the hardcam. We'll get onto it in a bit, but it looks as if we're set for Cody Deaner to face either Eric or Joe next Tuesday, which has the potential to flip this story's momentum on its head.
