8 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Dec 1)

7. See You Next Year

Given his punch to Impact official D'Lo Brown at the culmination of last week's show, Ken Shamrock has been suspended for thirty days by Scott D'Amore, meaning he'll be absent from Impact programming for the remainder of 2020.

Undoubtedly, the Hall of Famer has produced some of his best work this year. Sami Callihan is always able to bring out the best in the people he works alongside, and Shamrock has been no exception to that statement. Whether they were destroying each other in the parking lot at Rebellion or challenging for the World Tag Team Championships at Slammiversary, 'The Draw' and 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' have this chemistry together that, on paper, you perhaps wouldn't have expected. Tremendous.

A supplemental Down, though, has to be given to Sami for saying he would give Bob Ryder a call to organise travel for Shamrock. The same Bob Ryder who passed away last Wednesday. Granted, this had already been taped in advance of the sad news, but there's been a whole week. Something else surely could have been sorted out.
