3. New Decade, Same Old BS

We may be into the 2020s, but it seems as if Johnny Swinger is still up to the same old tricks he's become associated with in Impact Wrestling, being caught this week placing some sort of pills into Joey Ryan's water. After being caught doing so by Tommy Dreamer though, 'The Swing Man' was challenged by Dreamer to drink the water himself, refusing to do so until 'The Innovator of Excellence' unveiled his favourite kendo stick.

So many questions from this. Why did Swinger have the pills in the first place? Why is he still targeting 'The King of Dong Style'? Why did Dreamer force Swinger to drink the spiked water? Surely that's breaking some sort of law? Needless to say, there was no need for this to continue. Swinger's already taken Ryan to Wrestler's Court after Joey refused to be in a team with the old school enthusiast, and came out victorious in the court case. He's got no reason to continue antagonising the master of the D*ck Flip.

While it would be nice to have this story over sooner rather than later, it was later revealed that Joey Ryan vs. Johnny Swinger has been signed for next week's episode. Surely that'll be the end of the rivalry. It can't go on much longer without getting seriously tedious to sit through.
