8 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 5)

6. Setting The Survivor Series Table

Baron Corbin Raw Roster

Last night's obligatory in-ring opener saw acting GM Baron Corbin address (almost) the entire Raw roster ahead of next weekend's Survivor Series pay-per-view, with the authority figure ticking several essential boxes in an effective table-setting exercise.

The red brand's male and female teams are coming together. Baron chose himself as captain, and announced that he'd be joined by Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, and Braun Strowman, leaving one spot open. Alexa Bliss was then introduced as the women's leader, though her fun promo stopped short of introducing any team members. Kurt Angle interrupted to a decent pop, challenging Baron to put his captaincy on the line in a singles bout later on, before Braun showed up, seemingly dead set on turning Corbin's face into lasagne.

There's little to complain about her, and Baron is much more compelling as a weaselly boss than he was as a big bully wrestler. Here's to his continued effectiveness.
