Following on from Pete Dunne's dominant display against Leon Ruff, here we had another recently snubbed NXT title challenger looking to prove why he should be the one stepping up to Karrion Kross as 'Kool' Kyle O'Reilly squared off against Oney Lorcan.

Apart from being a solid technical exhibition that gradually built towards a fiery comeback for the former Undisputed Era man, there wasn't much to report when it came to the bout itself. O'Reilly picked up the win via flying knee to Lorcan's neck. However, the real story came in the wake of his victory. With Dunne and Lorcan double-teaming the laid-back lad, Bobby Fish made his surprising return and didn't superkick O'Reilly in the face after saving him from a beatdown. They're not all bad, you know?

This alliance appears to be short-lived, though, as the two expressed their desires to head their separate ways shortly after. But at least O'Reilly can mark Fish under the 'friend' list going forward. Will this lead to Fish seeking some revenge from Adam Cole for his part in disassembling the band of brothers? If the obvious O'Reilly/Dunne angle takes up the 'Kool' kid's time going forward, then why the hell not?
