How much does it suck to be Randy Orton at times? You win the Royal Rumble and then win the WWE World Championship at WrestleMania, and it’s barely a blip on the radar.

Orton’s 13th world title win was met with quiet applause, especially compared to the thunderous ovation Brock Lesnar received when he won the Universal Championship in the following match. The contest itself was a sham of sorts, with more focus going to a trick that saw maggots, worms and cockroaches being projected from above onto the ring mat like a screen. It was portrayed as “mindgames” from Bray Wyatt, but all it did was make fans go “ick.”

After several minutes of pedestrian action, Orton hit an RKO “from outta nowhere” to become a smiling babyface champion again. Yay.

Seriously, this could have been on the kickoff show.
