Those of us who have heard of but seen very little of Ricochet were hoping to see glimpses this Saturday of what made the high-flier so celebrated in the ring.

We weren’t disappointed.

Ricochet was one of the six men vying for the new NXT North American Championship in a ladder match, and he immediately showed off his skillset, hitting a springboard shooting star press to the floor on Killian Dain and Lars Sullivan. From there, he continued to fly around the ring. At one point, Sullivan tipped a ladder Ricochet was climbing, so Ricochet simply moonsaulted off it to the floor, taking out Adam Cole and Dain.

While Ricochet didn’t capture gold on his first night in the company, he made a huge impression with fans, and hopefully he will get off and running in NXT proper soon enough.
