One thing we’ve come to expect in recent years about the Raw after WrestleMania is that it’s jam-packed with angles, debuts and developments. When done well, there’s barely a down moment in terms of things charging ahead.

That’s why the six-woman tag match involving Bayley, Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke, Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair and Emma was so odd. Very little came of it other than Emma’s return to the ring. No new feud of note – unless we’re going to see Charlotte and Nia lock it up soon – was launched and no new title contender emerged. Next week, we’ll be in the same spot we were right after Mania.

While that isn’t a huge negative – not every match or segment can be a huge angle, and not every division has to take massive strides forward – it’s still odd that we saw nothing forward-looking in terms of the Raw women’s division Monday night.
