During the Street Profits’ ascent on Raw, it’s become obvious that Montez Ford is freakishly athletic and charismatic as well. If he puts everything together, he could grow out of the tag team ranks into a successful singles star.

Monday, he got a taste of that, facing Seth Rollins one-on-one, and Ford hung in there pretty well. Rollins hit him with a couple Buckle Bombs as well as his usual offense, but Montez nailed a nice standing moonsault and sunset bomb to come back. However, Ford missed a frogsplash and Rollins capitalized with a curbstomp for the win.

Ultimately, Ford wasn’t going to beat the former multi-time world champion, but he looked competitive and showed promise. That’s a pretty good night for the Raw rookie.
