8 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 18th)

Downs...

5. People In Glass Houses€

It€™s weird to be in a situation where you feel the need to defend Michael Cole, but when it comes to being criticized by JBL and Booker T for your announcing, then someone has to step in. Coming out of a commercial break, Raw went to its paid sponsor ads, but Cole clearly didn€™t get the segment, sitting silent for a few seconds before saying, €œHi, 1, 2, 3€€ before reading the ad. Almost immediately, JBL jumped on Cole, €œwelcoming€ him back from commercial, followed by Booker telling him to wake up. These two guys can barely speak a full sentence without tripping over their own words, with Bradshaw a shell of himself and Booker unable to understand what the €œFreebird Rule€ is. Sure, Vince was probably in their ear telling them to give Cole a lot of grief, but come on. Cole gets a lot of flack from fans, but for something like that, he should be given a pass.

Monday nights in the Carlson household are reserved for viewing Raw -- for better or worse.
