8 Ups And 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 25)

Considering how much space the announcers try to fill on Raw each week, you’d think they’d find five seconds to cram in some useful information, but they failed miserably twice during the United States Championship match.

Neither announcer noted that Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles were facing each other for the first time ever in WWE – and only the second time in their long careers. That’s a fairly remarkable fact, and the kind of one the company loves to play up.

Secondly, Vic Joseph really should have reminded everyone of why Randy Orton was out helping Rey during the US title match. During the fatal four-way, Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson cost him a pinfall attempt, pulling him out of the ring after an RKO and attacking him. That simply reminder would have given a logical reason for Orton getting revenge and taking out The OC.

Neither of these are critical mistakes, but both points would have been immensely helpful during that match and added a little something more.
